Tafv ei-Leinarrh tr'Rllaillieu was the son of famed Romulan commander Ael t'Rllaillieu. He faithfully served alongside his mother on board the ChR Bloodwing. In 2275 he was in command of the Bloodwing, while Ael was placed on "patrol duty" on the ChR Cuirass. When Ael discovered the operation near Levaeri V, she had Tafv transport her off the Cuirass. Tafv stood behind his mother when she tried to convince Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise. However, during the attack on the orbiting space station. Tafv tried to take over the Enterprise against his mother's wishes. The attempt failed and Tafv was wounded. Tafv blamed his mother for the exile of his cousin Liviana Charvanek, who was very close to him, believing that Ael could have done more for her. In an act of mnhei'sahe, Ael took the life of her own son for his betrayal. (TOS - Rihannsu novel: My Enemy, My Ally)
