Taggert was a Human male who served in Starfleet in the 24th century.
Biography[]
By the later 2350s decade, Taggert was captain of the USS Repulse. In the year 2365, he reluctantly transferred his chief medical officer, Doctor Katherine Pulaski, to the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG episodes: "The Child", "Unnatural Selection")
Taggert had at least one daughter, Ariel Taggert. Ariel also served in Starfleet and had assumed command of the Repulse after her father had stepped down. (TNG novel: Vendetta)
