A Talarian hook spider
A Talarian hook spider is an arachnid species with legs of half a meter. The skin of a Talarian hook spider is stone colored and the head is a large ring of teeth with no apparent eyes or mandibles. The first two legs of this spider contains hooks that it uses to capture its prey. On Talaria IV the spiders are found in the Monlynne volcano vents of Krutt. Talarian hook spiders cannot live in cold environments. Large numbers of the species are known to inhabit the Zayra system. The webbing of a Talarian hook spider can disrupt isolinear circuitry by corrosion. (Decipher RPG module: Creatures)
