Talk:2190

Who's Who in Star Trek states New York as Boyce's place of birth, but I can't see anything about date, so where did that come from? --8of5 21:13, 18 June 2007 (UTC).
IIRC, I got that from the italicised notes below Boyce's file on Memory Alpha, which use 2190 due to it being the result of how old the Bible notes for The Cage said he was in what the fans would ultimately work out was 2254--Stripey77 08:05, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- You've used faulty arithmetic anyway as the Bible for "The Cage" states that Boyce was 51-years-old, which would place his birth in 2203. --The Doctor 15:28, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- According to a copy of the series bible included in The Making of Star Trek, the figure of "51" is not given -- it states he is 'well into his fifties' which could mean a birthdate in the 2190s or the 2200s, but does not narrow down a specific figure like 2190 or 2203. Not sure how this figures since Gene's treatise was never officially published, but "The Making of" was... - Captain MKB 15:35, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- My apologies, it was in Gene's original pitch that the age of 51 was given. At least according to MA. --The Doctor 15:43, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- I just got finished comparing them. Gene's pitch is available in .PDF but I'm not sure how to gauge authenticity since it is not officially published except as excerpts such as this which don't agree with the file. -- Captain MKB 16:03, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
