Andrea? Source? --Turtletrekker 00:07, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

source??[]

I got it from Memory alpha, I figured someone would source it?? Teamwork and all. (Cmdr Ljungberg 01:33, 3 February 2007 (UTC))

The unverified name of "Andrea" is gone. Yay, teamwork! --Seventy 02:01, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Memory Alpha cited "Marvel Comics' Star Trek: Starfleet Academy monthly series and other novels", I just flipped through the SA Comics and didnt spot it, but I could easily have missed it. -- 8of5 02:20, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
I do remember the Andrea name from when I was reading the SA comics. When I get the chance, I'll take a look myself, but I'm sure it's there. --TimPendragon 06:03, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
[1] it was apparently used in the TCC, as well as in this novel I've never heard of [2] < "Make it so, a guide to command" or something. Though I'm pretty sure the name first came from the comic, if not maybe a background source from the episode. - Lieutenant Ayala 17:06, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Make It So is actually a non-fiction book, that presents "leadership lessons" of Jean-Luc Picard. (It was the 1990s; you could get pretty much anything published as a business book then.) I don't know that we should include it in the scope of the wiki, though it does tend to back-up the M-A claim that "Andrea" came from studio material. I'd really like to have a cite to a specific SFA comic before including it here, though. --Seventy 17:41, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, according to this Decipher site, the name appears on her Second Edition CCG card, and comes from the script to "The First Duty". Even if we don't take it from the script, the card's use of it makes it valid. I'll still check out the comics, though. --TimPendragon 18:20, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Ok, now that's teamwork! Go team! --Turtletrekker 19:08, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
