In the 23rd century, its duties have been taken over by The Yard, and became a historic tourist attraction. Among the tourist attractions, are the flying saucers, aliens and the Art Bell exhibit, period weapons and the "Cammo Dudes" uniforms, vehicles, the "Use of Deadly Force Is Authorized" signs, also the resteraunt, "The Little Ale-E-INN" has been restored, period artifacts are part of the "Tour" given by staff and "re-enactors" who dress as UFO witnesses, "Cammo Dudes", period military officers and enlisted personnel, CIA and other intelligence personnel, "aliens", etc. One guy, who looks like Art Bell, sits in a reconstructed set that appears to be Art Bell's studio, "broadcasting" the show "Coast To Coast AM", including one show that reported the famous Phoenix UFO Incident which was revealed to be a "Cover" operation to conceal the departure of Khan Singh's ship from Earth, as the ship was spotted by thousands of people and reported AS a UFO.

What is the source? You say you've read this in novels? Which ones? "Other 'Trek' material as well"? What material? You have to list your sources. A lot of this sounds fan-fiction-y to me. --Turtletrekker 00:45, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

Besides which, the story "Devices and Desires", which establishes The Yard, never mentions Area 51, so it's completely inaccurate to say that The Yard had taken over its duties. This is clearly a giant load of fanwankery. --Seventy 01:48, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

The Yard is also mentione in "Before Dishonor", but none of the rest of this stuff is there. Unless there are objections, I am deleting the unsourced material until a source is verified.--Turtletrekker 03:45, 19 June 2008 (UTC)
