Since there are only two topics that fit this description, I think this should be changed from a disambig page to the article on the novel, keeping the link on that page to the article on the in-universe document. If for no other reason than to make it easier to cite the novel without having to type its long-ass title twice. --Seventy 12:57, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
- If it helps any, Spock's World calls the document that binds the Vulcans to the Federation as the Articles of Federation but also refers to it as Articles of Association which I will make an entry in later when I can. -- Darth Batrus 16:33, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

- The West Wing, Star Trek-style. This novel does a great job answering all the questions fans have had about the government of the Federation. Not to say that the story is 100% perfect, as a major problem with it was that the writer clearly took more than the idea from The West Wing. Several minor plot points were taken directly from episodes of The West Wing. Several jokes are even taken from episodes, which as a fan of The West Wing, I must say fit the TV characters better then the characters in this novel. - And interesting story, that allows us to delve into the depth of Federation politics, and does not disapoint. In fact, I was such a fan of this novel, that I came to the conclusion that it would have made a better 'Series V' than Enterprise did. I agree that it borrowed a lot from the West Wing, but I can't see anything wrong with that; The West Wing is the greatest political drama ever on television, and perhaps one of the best TV series ever. The multi-story, ensemble style of this book does not detract from it in any way. If i had one complaint, it's that the book didn't show Nan's campaign.
