According to the novel "Sarek", Azetbur was married at the time of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, and her husband was one of those killed in Gorkon's assassination. Also, in the movie's novelisation, a romantic relationship blossoms between her and Brigadier Kerla near the end.
