- I think the user who wrote that has a problem with adding random words to sentences where they don't belong (at least in American English). Let's try to translate for him in cases where we can basically understand what he is trying to say.

- The problem is in the order of the words -- "Kirk visually found it peculiar" implies that Kirk did something to the beer with his vision. A sentence like "Kirk was visibly surprised at the taste" would refer to Kirk's appearance from someone else's ponit of view, which I think is what you were trying to say.
- So despite knowing the language, you picked the wrong word and put it at a strange place in the sentence that changed the meaning of what you are trying to say.
