Did Destiny actually explain the creation fo the Borg Queen? As I recall it Sedín wasn't actually the first queen but some sort of general power over the Collective a step higher than the Queen. Hence why Sedin was still the core of the Collective by the 24th century while a succession of different Queens had gone by. --8of5 13:04, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

I'll go back and reread that portion (I don't have the book handy right now), but you're probably correct in that my addition is a bit crude and misleading. The first human female she merged with would have become the first queen; Sedín would actually be the mechanical parts of every Borg drone (the Caeliar's claytronic atoms plus a human body = Borg drone).
