I've removed the ambiguous date reference with the hopes that a specific one can one day be added. For example "the 2270s" or "newly-built in 2338", whichever time frame this might actually belong to. I don't have the book. -- Captain MKB 15:11, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

I checked the book and there is no date for the event and I think we can only extrapolate when the event is. Its after the TNG episode where a Vulcan ambassador turns out to be a Romulan spy but thats all the reference there is. Oh and that Ensign Ro is in it. Ro was only abard and ranked as an ensign during 2368 and 2369. If the novel has a stardate, 45XXX would indicate 2368 and 46XXX would indicate 2369. -- Captain MKB 19:46, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

From what I have checked, I can't see a stardate being mentioned. Will have another look but I strongly suspect that there was none. Perhaps the article could say the class was produced in the middle part of the 24th century? Or is that too vague? -- Darth Batrus 11:03, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
