Are we sure this is the same guy as Russell on MA, because this article says he died in 2366 while MA says that he was on Voyager in 2372.--Long Live the United Earth 20:59, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Per the ebook and KRAD's annotations, yes. MA only assumes the same background actor played the same character. --Seventy 23:56, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

Dennis Russell's appearances[]

I'm in the process of updating the character lists of various episode pages and I've come across a problem. According to Memory Alpha, Russell appeared in 57 TNG episodes and 8 VOY episodes after he supposedly died during the events of Best of Both Worlds, Part I. Should I still credit these appearances as Dennis Russell on Memory Beta, or not? The obvious answer would be "no", but there are already two other characters who continued appearing in episodes after they died. Leslie appeared in 13 TOS episodes after he died in Obsession and was named in at least 4 of those episodes. Similarly, Galloway appeared in Turnabout Intruder (he was named in the credits) even though he was vaporized in The Omega Glory.

So what should I do about Russell's alleged post-mortem appearances? --NetSpiker (talk) 09:25, November 18, 2017 (UTC)

I think you have your answer right there - same as LEslie and Galloway -- captainmike Wiki-wordmark 15:09, November 18, 2017 (UTC)

I was thinking it might be different than Leslie and Galloway because Russell was never actually named in any of his post-death appearances. But since you say it's the same, I'll continue crediting Russell to match his appearances according to Memory Alpha. --NetSpiker (talk) 00:24, November 19, 2017 (UTC)
