Contradition From Season 2 - Should it be mentioned?[]
In the novel, Spock and Burnham are described as working together to address the situation. However, it's since been revealed in Discovery Season 2 that they 'haven't spoken together in years' (Season 2, Episode 2, "New Eden"), implied to date back to when they were both children (In Season 2, Episode 3, "Point of Light", Burnham described it to Amanda - 'since the logic bombing targeted me, I put everyone else in danger. Spock was my little shadow, so I had to hurt him enough to make him stay away from me' - implying it was done to make him less of a target, at least in Burham's eyes). As a result, although she has reached out to him over the years to try and mend the relationship, as of the time of this novel they still shouldn't have been on speaking terms Csljr1 (talk) 16:14, February 25, 2019 (UTC)
