Talk:Doomsday machine

Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

I added the note at the top leading to Planet Killer (comic) since Planet Killer redirects here. I wasn't sure if we should have a disambiguation page at "Planet Killer" or leave the redirect as is. Jdvelasc 05:28, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

I think, so long as there is only one other "Planet Killer" article, this should be fine. --Seventy 16:48, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Just leaving a reminder: add material from FASA scenario "A Doomsday Like Any Other".--Emperorkalan 20:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Page name

Should this page be moved to "planet killer," since that's what the device has been called the most, in the episodes and novels themselves. Has any character actually called it the "doomsday machine"? In the episode, Spock merely compared it to "the so-called doomsday weapons" of Earth. --TimPendragon 20:44, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Well having a flip through the sources. Vendetta seems to use only Planet Killer, the Voyager comics Planet Killer use both, but mostly Planet Killer, and Before Dishonor uses both with no clear majority use of either name. So yes both are used in universe. I prefer Doomsday machine myself. --8of5 03:13, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
