Where does the note about why she switched professions come from? Certainly not from Warpath as David Mack has admitted (in his annotations [[1]] that Etana Kol being a nurse was simply a case of mistaken identity. Marco mentioned it on the TrekBBS. Of course, that might not actually be the direction they go, but at the time, I took him at his word. BTW, I have a very clear recollection of this because I was the one who pointed out the error to him after reading an on-line excerpt.
