What a surprise. I'm as usual the only one I know who disagrees that TAS makes up "only" years 4 and 5, as well as that they are in order of production. I put 2265 for Magicks for a reason. I'll not change it back [we've had that petty yo-yoing before], but I'm stating my opinion here [as always asked to do].--Stripey 15:50, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

If you have a reason, why are you not explaining it here? --Seventy 00:54, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

It's stardate is 1254.4. Starfleet was bringing out the uniforms we first saw in The Corbomite Maneuvre, but they were itchy and, after the events of 1254.4, sent back, so the crew wore the old uniforms during Where No Man Has Gone Before. They were re-returned, not itchy, for The Corbomite Maneuvre. Enterprise: The First Adventure and the My Brother's Keeper trio show different crews, and we know All Those Years Ago..., The Starless World, Prisoners and The Trial Of Captain Kirk all have events in this period...with differing crews shown. Why can't Magicks be 2265?--Stripey 17:55, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but no. The 1254.4 stardate was a error. There are tons of similar stardating errors in many of the novels (not to mention some in canon as well). And the internal evidence of the story itself always takes precedence, especially when it comes to TOS-era stardates. Far saner to accept this than to adopt this inane "itchy uniform" explanation. --Seventy 01:30, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Then I'll always be comfortable in insanity.--Stripey 08:29, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Did the the bio-mimetic copy of the USS Voyager intended to cut through the center of the galaxy on its journey to Sector 001 through the great barrier in Course: Oblivion?.--TyphussJediVader 01:41, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't think anyone said anything about it. -- Captain MKB 02:15, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Here is the line from the episode. In this case the shortest path is a straight line. We'll pass right through the centre of the Milky Way. And be in sector zero zero one within two years.--TyphussJediVader 12:15, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, but no one said anything at all about there being a Great Barrier there. So how could anyone possibly answer this question? -- Captain MKB 13:51, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

On Memory Alpha on the Great Barrier page said they wanted to cut through the center of the galaxy through the Great Barrier.Explain that?.--TyphussJediVader 20:21, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Memory Alpha says "which would have probably" which means "we're only guessing and making this up and has no basis in fact." --Captain Savar 21:42, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for bringing this up! I started a talk page on Memory Alpha so that we could have that nonsense removed. Sorry you had to read it, hope you recover well. -- Captain MKB 22:05, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
