Hearts and minds scene

i couldn't find a copy at the university bookstore, so its going to be some time until i read this one -- i have no capability to identify this scene for the image page. -- captainmike Wiki-wordmark 01:33, June 6, 2017 (UTC)

I read the book. The building/city on the cover is not described anywhere. Settings in the book include the capital of the Tevent Coalition, which consists of skyscrapers (though not mile-high). Earth cities are mentioned (D.C., NYC) but nothing is given on their looks. If I were to guess, this generic image is supposed to represent either 1) the 2386 Tevent capital, 2), or a 2030s USA city. I'd go with the former, as Picard visits the city and a lot of the action takes place there across the chapters. Kind regards, -- Markonian 06:33, June 6, 2017 (UTC)

Thank you Admiral

Regarding timelining - i don't believe the book mentions a specific month in 2386 dating the event of the book, just that it is "late 2386" -- captainmike Wiki-wordmarkX 20:35, April 24, 2020 (UTC)
