It may just be the "proximate to both Federation and Klingon space" line that's used to infer a Beta-Quad location, rather than a direct reference.--Emperorkalan 16:00, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Actually the most recent installment (The Blood-Dimmed Tide) specifically states Mestiko is in the Alpha Quadrant. --Seventy 16:12, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
