Title? Name?[]
I'd always assumed Khan's first name is "Khan," but the template lists "khan" as his title, which is sensible, considering that "Genghis Khan" was Temujin's title, rather than name. "Khan Sibahl Noonien Singh" would then be appropriate, rather than "Sibahl Khan Noonien Singh," no? Or is "Noonien Singh" also part of his title (I don't think it is)?

- I question whether "Khan" is his title, as he was addressed by "Khan" as if it were a title, and the alternate reality version said that his name was Khan when Kirk inquired. -- sulfur (talk) 19:22, July 11, 2013 (UTC)
- If I recall correctly (and it's been a while since I read the books), Khan was actually named Khan by his mother in the Rise and Fall of Khan Noonien Singh series of books. As that is the most detailed series of books about Khan and no canon source contradicts it, I'd say the template is wrong and Khan is part of his name.--Long Live the United Earth (talk) 00:44, July 12, 2013 (UTC)
- Ah... does any canonical or licensed source state Khan ever held the title of khan? If not, that line of the template should be removed. Additionally, does The Rise and Fall... explicitly state "Khan" is Khan's first name, or can the Blish and Cox stories be reconciled as "Sibahl" being Khan's first, and "Khan" his second, name?
