Mogh - a councillor?[]
According the article Worf, his father Mogh was a councillor. Is this correct? Peter R 18:00, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
- I didn't think that he was. I don't recall him serving on the council in The Art of the Impossible, just the Defence Force. According to the articles history, that change was made by Sci on March 30. Perhaps he could shed some light. Sci? --Turtletrekker 18:43, 16 July 2006 (UTC)
- I could swear that I remember Mogh being a member of the High Council in Art of the Impossible, but I don't have access to a copy of the book at the moment. Someone else will have to check to see if my memory is wonky! -- Sci 20:42 16 July 2006 UTC
- In The Art of the Impossible, Mogh starts off as K'mpec's First officer (Chapter 16). After Kravokh wins the duel to be the new Chancellor after the death of Ditagh, he awards the new opening on the Council to K'mpec (Chapter 18). Years later, in 2344 (Chapter 22), we found that after K'mpec was elevated to the council, Mogh was made captain of the Pu'Bekh (and still is for the events of the chapter, trying to get K'mpec to listen to Lorgh about the liklihood of a Romulan attack). Two years later (Chapter 29), K'mpec recruits Mogh to root out suspected Romulan collaborators on Khitomer. We can be certain that Mogh was not on the Council, because K'mpec is called away on Council business halfway through dinner, while Mogh is not. And because he's killed at Khitomer, Mogh never has the chance to be elevated to the council after K'mpec challenges Kravokh and becomes Chancellor himself.--Emperorkalan 11:32, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Organisation[]
I removed the following because I couldn't figure out quite what it was trying to say "The members of the council work by convincing the majority of the empire's most powerful people to agree on anything difficult unless the course of action is clear. This is due to the fact that no one wants to unintentionally benefit a rival or undermine their own position. (Decipher RPG module: Aliens)" I think there might be a word "not" missing in that first sentence, but the english is still a bit jumbled either way. --8of5 15:57, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Chang[]
Losses shows Chang in some sort of role in the High Council, something like the role of Speaker of the House. Any thoughts on how to document this, or other potential interpretations - might Chang be a councillor? --8of5 16:18, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
