Again, Star Trek Online isn't out. If this is coming from some pre-release information we probabley shouldnt cover it as its more than likely to change between now and coming out. -- 8of5 11:14, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Could it be left perhaps as a note? Memory Alpha I think is doing the same thing. -- Darth Batrus 13:50, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
Maybe, did you actually get this from the original source or the memoryalpha article? As the memoryalph article doesn’t cite the source for that little nugget, coupled with the fact the game doesn’t even exist yet I'd consider it to be of dubious credibility.
On making it a note, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to indent and italicise it as is often done with little factoids from novels that haven’t been released yet. -- 8of5 21:33, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Well i didnt copy it word for word but remembered the game news I have heard about it and checked Memory Alpha for further details so I didnt make any mistakes when typing it up.
On Memory Alpha it says: 'In the upcoming computer game Star Trek Online, more Klingons seem to believe that Miral Paris is the kuvah'magh. Miral joins Starfleet like her parents, and many Klingons follow her lead. ' -- Darth Batrus 22:38, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I've looked to know to question you about it. My problem was it says that on memoryalpha but does not say where that information came from. Not Star Trek: Online, that dosn't exist yet so if it is to be in the game it must have been reported somewhere. You say you recall seeing it in the game news which indictes it does have some other source. -- 8of5 21:42, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- Found it. It was on the weblog on the site and is from the 'story lead' of Startrek Online. Here is the link: http://startrek.perpetual.com/2005/12/holiday_story_update.html though I do agree in the aspect that the game isnt out so a bit dubious since information may change. -- Darth Batrus 22:02, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- The source is now a dead link. Is this still "forthcoming"? If not, what to do with the info--delete it or note it as a "might have been"?
Star Trek: Online is now being developed by Cryptic, and has written a new background information. This information is outdated and no longer applicable.
