Talk:Kzinti

Back to page

Where does the boardgame "Star Fleet Battles" fit in our domain, since it branches off the Franz Joseph stuff (Star Fleet Technical Manual and blueprints), and is not licensed by paramount directly (I think-- need to double-check this)? All the stuff on the Kzinti page is from SFB, but that has its own distinct continuity separate from even the movies and TNG. (And, for instance, we don't list SFB ship classes here).--Emperorkalan 13:44, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

And there is no mention that the Kzin /Kzinti orginate in Larry Niven's Known Space universe.

This article has sat her uncited and clearly full of non-Star trek info for as long as I've been here, can anyone see anything which should be kept and does anyone know if the Star Trek: Communicator article from which the image is cited is a source for any of this? If not I intend to start the page from scratch. -- 8of5 17:48, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Found it: the April 2004 issue. No, it's not. The artwork was from a proposed "Captain Sulu"-era project (see Memory Alpha entry on it), which might have been revamped for ENT had it gone to season 5. The artist's site has a poster and the Communicator image (which also shows the Communicator page on which it appeared. The text doesn't really provide much description of the Kzinti).--Emperorkalan 17:24, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Tracked that down myself a few weeks ago, not seen the poster before though, shame that never got made. I have replaced the article, it's lacking some details as I havn't seen the episode in some time but at least it's properly cited now. -- 8of5 17:33, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
I added a link to egg to the genetics and reproduction section, but i also cannot recall any licensed source mentioning the way Kzinti fertilize their eggs. -- Captain M.K.B. 16:18, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Nifty: At artist Court Jones' site, heres his full page on the "Lions of the Night" project. Some really nice artwork. Too bad the Kizinti project's back in Trek limbo...--Emperorkalan 18:17, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Do the Man-Kzin Wars books count as Star Trek material? Should they be added to Memory Beta? – AT2Howell 00:24, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Nope.--8of5 00:28, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
