Do we really need articles on Manchester United and Liverpool FC? If so is it not about time they were typed up? If not is it not time that the links were deleated? RicoRichmond 12:00, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm not familiar with the sources that mentioned thme in Star Trek so I can't really write the article.
And there's no problems with leaving red links there. Red links are not in any way time-sensitive. -- Captain MKB 14:49, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

No, there's nothing wrong with having redlinks there, it's just that having them there implies that there should be an article there even if there isn't one at the moment, which is the issue I'm raising. I think it was CaptainMike who put in the links, so maybe we should ask him? RicoRichmond 14:58, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

I am Captainmike, and I added the links to propogate them based on the links existing elsewhere. But I don't have the source, so I am ill equipped to write full articles. However, you are right, the links indicate articles should and will be written. Since we're all volunteers here, who's to say when that will be? Is that your issue?
According to the history of the Manchester article, the link to Manchester United was written by Rico Richmond. Maybe he knows more about it? -- Captain MKB 16:33, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Ha ha very funny - but no I coulddn't. I added the 'Manchester United' link on the Manchester article on the basis that Manchester United are *obviously* from Manchester, and this was worthwhile information, so ifa Manchester United article was going to be created then I might as well put in a link to it, which would lead to something once that article was in place. But no - I have not read and am not in possesion of a copy of the 'Rememberance of things past' book, so I'm not in a postiion to type up the articles. RicoRichmond 17:13, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

Liverpudlian[]

The following tidbit was added to this page, but did it come from an actual Star Trek novel?

Prople or things from Liverpool are refered to as Liverpudlian.
