Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
This is for anyone who has read this comic. It has been reported on this wiki that the plot for this work involves the Klingons capturing the Narada and keeping it for 25 years without reverse engineering it's technology and leaving it unguarded in orbit around Rura Penthe. Is this acurate? There is no way that anyone would publish something that stupid. I'm sorry, but this has to be made up. Anyone? – AT2Howell 13:45, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've read the comic, and it does not yet say where the Narada was for those 25 years. The first issue takes place entirely in 2233..
- ... and AT2Howell, we're well aware of your critical opinions of which stories you think are "stupid" -- but this is, as you've been warned, not the place to publish YOUR criticisms in such a blunt manner. This page is for discussing changes to the article. Cut it out, or face the consequences. -- Captain MKB 13:49, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Hey, just trying to establish the veracity of something that read like fanfic. – AT2Howell 13:50, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- Did you have a change to suggest to this article? -- Captain MKB 13:55, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Not this one. The Narada page referenced this comic with some suspect info. If you say it's valid, then it's valid. Don't be a sore winner. – AT2Howell 13:58, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- In the end of the first issue, the Narada was towed towards Rura Penthe. We don't know what happened from there until issue 2 comes out. Being heavily damaged, it could have seemed useless and been left derelict floating near the planet, I guess we'll find out in issue two. Please do not answer whether you think this is stupid or not, no one cares. -- Captain MKB 14:01, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
Does the comic at least explain how the same ship that takes on a fleet of 24th century Klingons was crippled by a single 23rd century starship? I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just hoping that was explained. – AT2Howell 14:04, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes. The 23rd century starship attacked with its warp field triggered at the time of approach, while within the Narada's defensive sphere, nearly destroying the ship through subspace distortion and the subsequent explosion, while the other ships that Narada fought only used conventional weapons.
- As I said elsewhere, it would probably be better to wait until more article material is generated by this week's comic, and then you could simply read the articles to get your questions answered, AT2Howell. Or you could read the comic. -- Captain MKB 14:10, 19 August 2009 (UTC)
