Talk:Phineas Tarbolde
Back to page
Just some speculation (and thus not suitable for the article itself): I've occasionally wondered how someone with a recognizably human name (if a bit rare) would be writing in a different star system in 1996, before there were supposed to be extra-solar Earth colonies. There's a few possibilities -- from coincidental similarity of names to the Preservers), but one finally occured to me: there is one canon Earth "colony" in 1996: on the planet where the Skargaran ship with human captives crashed (ENT "North Star"). Given that root population, a "Phineas Tarbolde" wouldn't be out of place. That world was never named, and once the Spheres were eliminated the Delphic Expanse would be just another region of space, not the Bermuda Trinagle it had previously been, so maybe that planet is the Canopus Planet.--Emperorkalan 11:59, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
