• Might be from the Undiscovered Country movie as the Federation said they would aid the empire. The ring is from the novel Sarek though it didnt have a name but was said to be the remains of Praxis and the Millennium Books mention the Praxis Ring. Undiscovered Country says the Federation would aid the Empire, but never specified how, that’s been one of those Trek mysteries, how or even if Qo'noS was restored, there's also the idea that the Klingons made a new homeworld, though it seems likely to me the Feds just helped them clean us Qo'noS. Anyway if Sarek only establishes there was a ring then this extra speculation shouldn't be there.
