McHenry here. what is the best way to categorise characters in this novel i usually go with is 1. enterprise crew 2. starfleet 3. fedaration 4 other 5 referenced but with this book for e.g there is guinan, present in 2 timelines . Squire of Gothos Edit

Actually, while it was implied that Q was Trelane's actual father, in "Squire of Gothos" Trelane's parents were his mother and her husband. In the real world, obviously not, as "The Squire of Gothos" was broadcast 20-odd-years before Q was a glint in Roddenberry's eye. However, in-universe, why not? As we know Q and the Continuum have existed for millennia. --Dr. John Smith 22:38, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
