Ael was going to call a Starfleet officer a "Senior centurion" suggesting it was a rank, at least to me it did. -- Darth Batrus 20:34, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

From the glossary of "The Romulan Way":

enarrain -- senior centurion; colonel of infantry, commodore of Fleet forces. Minimum rank at which an officer may command more than his own vessel.

Interesting in that khre'riov (commander general) is noted to also be approximately equivalent to a colonel or commodore -- meaning (or at least suggesting) that "commander general" and "senior centurion" are roughly equivalent, and possibly represent two different branches of Romulan service. -- Captain MKB 19:45, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
