Chronological placement of this mission isn't usually debated. Most - if not all [but mine] - timelines say 2265, near Where No Man Has Gone Before[TOS]. I could never work out why. The way I read it, it's in 2267 [stardate 3460.0], between 'Star Trek Invasion! First Strike' [stardate 3497.3] and Who Mourns For Adonais?[TOS] [stardate 3468.1]. Any comments?

I'm not familiar with this novel in particular, but I suggest that once it's released we use the Voyages of Imagination timeline, once it's out, to sort out the dates of everything -- 8of5 21:27, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
