Weapon, or material?[]

Upon inspecting the source material, I can find only one reference to tran'nuc:

"A knot of hunter sits on a great, flat stone beneath the trees, fitting their dark, tran'nuc-wood bows with knotted strings made of s'tarakh-gut."

To me, that makes it look more as though tran'nuc is a type of wood from which bows are made, rather than a bow itself. --85.229.241.176 15:54, August 9, 2015 (UTC)

I haven't read the story myself but based on this passage, I agree with your assessment. Would you like to update the article to reflect your findings? -- Markonian 15:59, August 9, 2015 (UTC)
Will do!
I've found that tran'nuc is also meantioned in Kahless (novel) by the same author, and it confirms this conclusion: It mentions tran'nuc trees with edible, purple fruits. --85.229.241.176 16:03, August 9, 2015 (UTC)
