In early 2270 it is said that the Hood was destroyed, yet in the novel Relics (Prologue pg. 7) it alludes that Lustig was in the command chair on the Hood in 2294 some 24 years after it is said that the Hood was destroyed. (TNG novels: Relics)

Agreed -- my memory of Relics is that the Jenolen captain was regretting his peers getting better commands than he, and might've mentioned Constitution class vessels, and that Lustig commanded the larger Hood. I believe that FASA also lists numerous replacements for the lost Constitution vessels. -- Captain MKB
