I'm not sure if anyone realized that M-31 is Andromeda. Why not just call it the U.S.S. Andromeda?

Also, as for the time it takes to get there, it's perfectly possible that it doesn't actually have to get there to be at it's destination. It may begin transmitting just after the galactic barrier, and be considered at it's destination. Keras 22:32, 8 February 2006 (UTC)

The ship mentioned in this article was a galaxy ship, not a galaxy-class ship. The galaxy-class was not in operation until the late 2350's. [1] 99.152.197.82 05:57, June 18, 2011 (UTC)
