The Pathfinder was also not destroyed by the Jem'Hadar, it was destroyed when it crash-landed on Halkan after being attacked by the Ferengi (ST: Preserver) Perhaps the writer of this article is thinking of the Tobias: Pathfinder's captain, Christine MacDonald, also commanded the Tobias, which she noted that she destroyed to avoid it being captured by the Jem'Hadar in ST: Avenger. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.109.148.147 (talk) .

- So, another Intrepid class starship named Pathfinder, different from this one, was active in 2375 under the command of MacDonald. Since (to my knowledge) no registry was given, how would one differentiate an article for that ship from this one? - Bell'Orso 18:28, May 12, 2011 (UTC)
- When I wrote the link at Halka, I wrote it as USS Pathfinder (Intrepid class) (II) according to our pre-established naming conventions (as in USS Defiant (NX-74205) (II), etc... -- Captain MKB 18:36, May 12, 2011 (UTC)
