Where does "Matt Cleary" come from? Ex Machina has the transporter operator from The Motion Picture as "Mike Cleary" (pg 75) and also mentions that he served on the Potemkin so I wonder if this is supposed to be the same guy. --Jdvelasc 19:14, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Chekov Edit

Pavel Chekov states that the Potemkin was commanded by Chekov, but that isn't reflected here. Is this presumed to be the ship he commanded, or should that article link to a different Potemkin? --Archimedean 17:44, September 12, 2010 (UTC)

Probably a different Potemkin -- his command would be at some point after his service as a commander in The Lost Era but before his tenure as C-in-C, so were talking about an unreferenced series of decades beginning with the 2300s/2310s, after the Constitution class was mostly out of service. the FASA TNG Officer's Manual should have dates for the ship(s) Potemkin dates of leaving and entering service in that era. -- Captain MKB 18:19, September 12, 2010 (UTC)
