Ok, another timeline issue. If the story took place in the 2260s, the Surak was probably a standard Constitution. If it took place in the 2270s, it could be a refitted Connie.

Well the old novel timeline places The Wounded Sky in 2270, but Geoff Trowbridge's timeline, and probably the next novel timeline, place the adventure in the mid-2270s, so it might suggest a refitted Connie, however, considering the refitted Enterprise had only been in space for 2 to 3 years at the time, I would suggest that the Surak and the other Connie's mentioned are of a later batch of pre-refit Connies like the Achernar-type.--The Doctor 23:36, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
