Does anyone know who Dr. Margaret Flinn was? – AT2Howell 19:06, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- Not sure... perhaps we should note in the USS Dr. Margaret Flinn article that the ship was named after a person of the same name and leave it at that. -- Captain MKB 19:48, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- Based on the Dr. James Barry, she must be someone historical. I can't find her on Wikipedia. – AT2Howell 15:31, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well, did they explicitly say who James Barry was in the novel? If they didn't, then the article should be deleted. -- Captain MKB 21:16, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- James Barry was a surgeon (most likely a woman pretending to be a man) that traveled about, doing things to help. The owner of the ship Dr. James Barry was a woman (Tail-Kinker to-Ennien) pretending to be something else, traveling about the place doing things to help. I think this is relavent. – AT2Howell 21:54, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- The question I asked: was that how Barry was described in the novel? -- Captain MKB 22:13, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- No, just a name drop. Tail-Kinker to-Ennien is a Section 31 kind of person. Every little thing is meant to be a clue. – AT2Howell 22:15, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
