In 2378, Miles O'Brien considered that recent Cardassian governments seemed to have been as stable as a one-legged Talorian. (DS9 novel: The Never-Ending Sacrifice)
- The Talorians were originally mentioned in a deleted or unfilmed scene from the DS9 episode "For the Uniform". In the scene, O'Brien and Julian Bashir recalled a joke Michael Eddington had told them regarding a four-legged Talorian and an Orion slave girl. [1]
