Tanas was a 24th century Klingon General who commanded the IKS Vor'nak during the Dominion War.

In 2374, Tanas sent five new officers to the IKS Rotarran. General Martok had requested ten more, however Tanas could not spare the warriors. (DS9 episode: "Sons and Daughters" & DS9 novelization: "Call to Arms...")
