Tarsus was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in Federation space at coordinates 3.89N 3.11E. The Tarsus system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, including a Federation colony on fourth planet Tarsus IV. The system was also home to a native intelligent species, the Tarsusians, on Tarsus II. (TOS comic: "Day of the Inquisitors")
