Following their splintering from the Vulcan species, the Romulans continued to make use of this same calendar and the names of the months. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Heart)

This Vulcan language term may also be the root-word of the starship name VSS S'Tasmeen in TOS novel: Killing Time.
