General Taulin Cyl was an elder white haired Trill who worked for the Trill Defense Ministry. The Trill ambassador, Seljin Gandres, left Taulin in charge of sorting out the parasite crisis on Deep Space 9 in September of 2376. (DS9 novel: Unity)
