Teekir was a type of animal native to planet Drema IV, used as a food source by the humanoid Dreman race.

While trapped in a collapsed dilithium mine in 2369, miner Jakara shared dried teekir meat with the others trapped with him, including Captain David Gold, who likened the taste to turkey marinaded in garlic.
