Telos was an incubated drone on the cube which recovered Hugh, and was freed from the Collective when Hugh's individuality infected the cube. He later served as a cybernetics specialist on the Liberator. (TNG novel: Greater Than the Sum)

Telos was named for Telos, a planet controlled by the Cybermen in Doctor Who. [1]
