The Temporal Integrity Commission was a 29th century Federation Starfleet agency, tasked with investigating temporal incursions and enforcing the Temporal Accords. The TIC was the successor of the Federation Department of Temporal Investigations and predecessor of the Federation Temporal Agency, which (unlike the TIC) were both civilian organizations. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)

HistoryEdit

The TIC was formed in 2867. (ST - Strange New Worlds VII short story: "Guardians")

The 24th century Department of Temporal Investigations knew the TIC was one of the participants in the Temporal Cold War. The DTI had frequent run-ins with TIC officer Juel Ducane. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)

The TIC detected USS Voyager's incursion into 1996 and dispatched the USS Aeon to return Voyager to 2373. (VOY episode: "Future's End")

The USS Relativity, another TIC vessel, encountered the USS Voyager when a future version of Relativity commander, Captain Braxton, was caught attempting to destroy Voyager with a bomb he'd hidden on the ship. All versions of Braxton were arrested by his first officer, an earlier version of Ducane. (VOY episode: "Relativity")
