Temporal displacement policy

Memory Beta, the wiki for licensed Star Trek content.

The temporal displacement policy is a set of Starfleet guidelines for its members on what to when they have travelled in time.

In 2024, Julian Bashir reflected that the temporal displacement policy sounded good in the classroom, but was shocked when he was faced with not being to stop several people from being killed in the Bell Riots. (DS9 episode: "Past Tense, Part I")

After being sent forward in time to 2400, Bashir suggested to Worf that they follow the temporal displacement policy to the letter. Worf agreed and asked Captain T'len of the USS Augustus to help them return to 2374. (DS9 novel: The War of the Prophets)
