Temzia Nirenn was an unjoined female Trill in the 23rd century. She was a student at the Tenaran Music Academy, where she played cello, Vulcan lute, li'dswed, and Tellarite hollow bell line. She was brash and arrogant, as well as brilliant and passionate.

She briefly became the lover of Joran Dax, and very nearly became his fourth victim. With the assistance of Verjyl Gard, she was able to defend herself, killing Joran instead. (DS9 short story: "Allegro Ouroboros in D Minor")
