Tereth, daughter of Rokis was a female Klingon in the 24th century

She was the daughter of Rokis and of Kular, of the House of Kular. She mated twice early in life, both times widowed when her husbands died in battle. She returned to her father's house, and assumed the duties of the household for him. In 2367, she decided to throw the support of the House of Kular behind Gowron over Duras for Chancellor of the Klingon High Council. When Gowron defeated Duras, he expressed his gratitude by forgiving many of the House of Kular's debts, and by sponsoring Tereth's entrance into the Klingon Defense Force.

Tereth initially served under Captain Akhra, and distinguished herself when their ship took the Cardassian world of Hranish. She subsequently was offered a posting under General Talak, but opted intend for an assignment under Captain Huss, where she continued to prove herself an exemplary officer.

At one point during the Dominion War, she was on Qo'noS, where she met Commander Klag, during his recuperation following the Battle of Marcan V. She considered Klag an officer on the rise, and several months later, when the position of executive officer opened aboard the IKS Gorkon, Tereth was offered and accepted the position.

Tereth perished when she sacrificed herself to save Gorkon crewmate Lieutenant Vralk from a falling bulkhead on the bridge. (ST novel: The Brave and the Bold)

Despite the timing of her death, Tereth was included by Reshtarc as a character in his opera, The Battle at San-Tarah, which depicted her as Klag's love interest. (KE novel: A Burning House)
