The Beatles were a human musical group in the 20th century. Their works were among those Dr. Gillian Taylor used to communicate with Harpo, a cetacean member of her oceanographic study team on Pacifica. (TOS short story: "The Hero of My Own Life").

Roberta Lincoln was also a fan of The Beatles, and was pleased in 2269 to see the crew of Enterprise sporting what she called "Beatles-hair" -- though she thought Pavel Chekov looked more like Davy Jones of The Monkees. (TOS novel Assignment: Eternity)
