Thomas Harewood was a Starfleet officer in the Kelvin timeline who served in Section 31.
Biography[]
In 2259, Harewood's daughter Lucille was hospitalized and near death. At that time, Khan Noonien Singh convinced Harewood to blow up the Kelvin Memorial Archive (actually a secret Section 31 facility) in exchange for curing Lucille. Harewood was the given a cure and Starfleet Academy class ring, which was secretly a explosive. Before carrying out the bombing, Harewood sent a message to Admiral Alexander Marcus explaining what happened. (TOS movie: Star Trek Into Darkness)
