Thomas Johnson Jr. was a Starfleet officer in the late 23rd and early 24th century. He served as commanding officer of the USS Enterprise-B from the early 2320s through the ships loss (and presumed destruction) in 2329.
Johnson's first assignment as captain of the Enterprise-B was patrol of the Cardassian border. The ship was therefore able to render assistance to Bajoran refugees in 2328 when Cardassia annexed Bajor. The following year the ship was lost in deep space shortly after the crew contracted some unknown infection. (ST reference: USS Enterprise Owners' Workshop Manual)

- In "The Starship Enterprise Legacy" section of the 1991 USS Enterprise-D cut-away poster sold by the Official Star Trek Fan Club (prior to the establishment of John Harriman in Star Trek Generations), a Captain "Tomas Johnson, Jr." was listed as commanding officer of the Enterprise-B. No dates for this command or other biographical information were given.
- In ST reference: USS Enterprise Owners' Workshop Manual it is further detailed that "Thomas Johnson Jr." was the last Captain of the Enterprise-B, serving after Sulu's second command, through the loss of the ship with all hands on board.
